About the Home
A place of wonderful energy
The Property
Our country home is located at the end of a quiet road on five acres with views of rolling hills, countryside, and horses. The home was completely remodeled in 2016 with a chef's kitchen, large island seating area, spacious living room, and high ceilings throughout. There's a clean, well-maintained hot tub under giant Eucalyptus trees. Enjoy fast wireless Internet (500Mbps), a full range of cable TV channels on two flat screen TVs, Sonos music and access to a number of streaming video services.
The Grounds
The five-acre property is home to many beautiful trees and lots of local wildlife including owls, woodpeckers, quail, bunnies and more! The rolling hills, the vineyards, the golden afternoon light, the unhurried pace of life — the Santa Ynez Valley has always felt to us like a little piece of Tuscany tucked into California.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There is a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the guest bedroom. There is heat/AC in the home to ensure you stay comfortable on cold or exceptionally hot days. We have given careful attention to our bedrooms and our beds are Casper mattresses with down-alternative mattress pads. Luxury linens and comforters await your arrival.
The Kitchen
The chef's kitchen features a 6 burner gas stove, electric oven, dishwasher, insinkerator, coffee maker and toaster. We're fully stocked with lots of plates, bowls, cups, glasses, silverware, pots, pans and everything you need to make full use of the kitchen. Make use of the Weber three-burner grill with side stove in the yard outside the kitchen.
Evenings & Mornings
Enjoy a glass of wine (or two, or three…) at night and watch for shooting stars from the tub or listen to our resident owl! Mornings are a favorite time for us at this house. Enjoy your preferred cuppa walking through the grounds, on the two-person porch swing outside of the master bedroom or take a morning stroll up the road to Solvang (30 min walk) and enjoy breakfast at its many yummy cafes!
The Location
While we're located near the end of a quiet country road, the home is just a five-minute drive from Solvang and ten minutes from Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, and Buellton. There are some wonderful restaurants, horse ranches, and wineries a short drive from the property. It is a heavenly place with wonderful energy. We really hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
